TELEHEALTH

TeleHealth is a simple, easy-to-use electronic device that can measure weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar. A TeleHealth employee will come to my house to help you set it up and teach you how to use it. Once your information is entered into the device, the device transmits it to the TeleHealth nurse so they can monitor it.

If you ever forget to use the device, you’ll get a phone call from the nurse checking in on you. And, if your weight, blood pressure, or blood sugar results are worrisome, the TeleHealth system will automatically send a red alert notice to the nurse to call you right away.

If you haven’t already spoken to your doctor about TeleHealth, you should ask about it before you leave the hospital.
